Hello there, brain
I know you’re having trouble right now
Big change is coming and happening
You don’t like that and you’re sending panic buttons my way
I understand you like to stay where we are
So I’m extending grace to you right now
Listen to my higher voice calling you
We will be alright, in fact, we will grow
We will learn new things and make new friends
We will see new rays of light and joy
We will honor all the spaces, people and experiences of our past
They will stay with us and give us depth, love and meaning
Breathe deep, say goodby to the fear, again and again
Let your deeper wisdom help you now, it is in there
It’s ok to cry, to mourn, to feel sad
It’s ok to feel conflicted and turbulent
Life is an incredible journey of many hues of change
If we didn’t feel the sadness, we couldn’t feel the future joys
It’s all part of the amazing school of life on this earth
It is sacred and deep, this changing and growing
Stay with me, there’s more light ahead for us
I just saw the beautiful sunlight on the leaves right now
I looked up and there they were
Speaking to me of possibilities and newness of life
Shall we move forward with hope and faith?
Let’s go into the unknown with courage and depth
It will be alright; all parts of me will finally integrate into one whole
God is with us, He loves us and won’t let us fall into the darkness
Things are scrambled and scattered right now inside us
But, that process is probably also necessary and important
Living in three time zones won’t last forever
Past, present and future will finally meld into the best part of me
It’s ok to embrace the future at your own pace
Honor the past, move with grace through the present
Help me believe and know this uplifting truth
Help me get there sooner than later
That all will work out, that all will be well
It will all eventually shine and lead us to a higher place
We will be all the better for the difficulty of this change
Somehow it will help us become more than we were
Help me get to this place of becoming
Thank you for the amazing work you’ve already done
Healing, growing, changing, healing more and more
Thank you for bringing me to this place
