Would you like to go with me?
Not far or across the sea
Instead let’s find a lovely place
Very close to our home base
Where laughter, music and mirth dwell
Could be flowers around a quaint, old well
Maybe we find magic in an old book
Or butterflies dancing by a babbling brook
What about the songs we forgot to sing?
Or the warm, baked bread your friend did bring?
The sweet smell of the newly cut grass
We cannot let this pleasure pass!
The wonderful laughter of a little child
Or the unexpected great, big smile
The sunrise with its glorious hues
Rising over the majestic, mountain views
The fragrance of your red and pink flowers
Following the sweet, April showers
Crunchy little acorns popping on the street
Children jumping rope, never missing a beat
Hugs from your loved ones so dear
You welcome them any time of the year!
Beauty, love and peace are here
Absence of all those secret fears
Sunlight dancing on pool waters deep
Brings us rainbows we wish to keep!
We want to stay in this sensory feast
Where troubles, worries have all ceased
