April is here again
Wish she would stay and stay
Green is new and fresh
Bluebonnets spread across the land
Another birthday is coming very soon
Hopefully giving another layer of wisdom
Spring is connected to our souls
Bringing hope and fresh perspective
The luminescence of shiny green leaves in April
Captures our imagination and fantasy
April is one of God’s gifts to our hearts
Filling it with birds, flowers and trees
Stay, please stay, lovely April
Brimming with new life and color
Connecting us to our youngest self
Running, playing, jumping in the green
Seeing nothing but beauty and life
Blotting out the grey, dark nights
A most wonderful month to be born!
A beautiful mother to bring and greet me!
Magical and full of promise
Life, beauty and love all around!
