Sing a song to touch a heart
And a song your day to start
Songs in sorrow, grief or pain
Songs for dancing in the rain
Deep inside a song rings clear and true
While waking, walking in glistening dew
Soul-touching songs of the brave
Those whose lives they freely gave
Sing a song, a song of old
A story not so often told
Reaching through the depths of time
Parsing through conflict, to harmonious chime
Hear the children singing songs of play
Laughter, joy and a shining day
Sing a song of love so deep
Only one, your heart does keep
Songs of eternal love so rare
Faithfully handled with great care
Higher and higher the songs we sing
Praises to our Eternal King
Songs of majesty, glory and praise
Filling our soul with burning blaze
Songs of all mood and clime
Some last to the end of time
Without our songs we couldn’t live
Or be inspired to share, to give
Our souls and songs are surely bound
In every note and beautiful sound
Hear them, sing them, feel them now
Let them soothe your troubled brow
