Each of us has challenges and trials just by living on this earth. Just like you, I too, have had adversity in my life.
The hard times have taught me many things. I have come to realize there are 2 choices when I go through tremendous trials; one is to let them discourage me or even destroy me or I can look at them with a different perspective.
I choose to focus on the beauty, the blessings, the growth and positive changes that can happen because of heart-wrenching trials and challenges. These changes are usually deep ones that give us wisdom, compassion and an ability to have greater empathy and understanding for our fellow humans.
Out of these very difficult adversities, came inspiration to write in a way that would help myself and others to focus on the Treasures along the Way, which indeed became Reflections on Life’s Surprises. This title of my blog came as inspiration and I hope my blog will inspire others to rise above the sorrow, despair and challenges we all face.
I feel great desire to share uplifting and hopeful messages while recognizing the reality of the trials. Sending love to all of you is my heartfelt desire.
