Treasures Along the Way

The waiting place is so hard
We love movement and action
The stretching of our inner voice
Happens in the waiting zone

Shhh! Be still! Breathe deep!
Patience and humility take aeons to develop
We are unaware that growth is happening
We can’t see it, feel it or sense it

Where is the clear evidence?
Nay, silence sits and teaches
Waiting and hoping
Are indeed the calisthenics of our soul
