Treasures Along the Way

We have been taught by the wisest One that we will reap what we sow
Have we found this to be so true?
Those unknown kind acts and words you say are never forgotten by those you blessed

We remember kind words spoken to us from long ago by many loving people
Our gratitude for their kindness is deep-
What a difference they make in our lives!

A sincere compliment is a gift always worth sharing
We don’t know how important it could be for the yearning soul
We don’t know how much it could alter the course of their life

Maybe that very day they were thinking they were worthless or unnoticed
Maybe they have deep, discouraging thoughts running through the quiet recordings of their mind
Then a person comes along and notices something beautiful and wonderful about them and everything changes; a light comes on and a brighter path is visible for them now.

Don’t hold it in! We must not suppress our kind words!
We must not hesitate to share the lovely thoughts we are having about a person!
How many times do we miss an opportunity to share the gift of sincere praise or encouragement with those around us?

Life is too short, too hard at times to pass our brother or sister by and be silent.
Instead, we can open our mouths and fill the world with shining words that glisten in a person’s eyes and mind as we share our kindness and love with them.
They cannot know the uplifting thoughts we have of them unless we open our hearts to them.
We must share our praise of their inner beauty with them!
-and it costs us nothing!

Who knows but that one day when we are down and out, someone will come and lift up our weary mind and see in us what we have lost and cannot see anymore?
Who knows but that all the praise and kindness we indeed did share along our journey of life, comes back to help us along our rugged and difficult way?

The harvest can be great-as one sows the seeds of love, generosity, praise, appreciation and kindness. It will come back to those who so freely give.
Our countenance will not age with hard lines or into an unhappy stone,
but into eyes that shine, wrinkles of joy and laughter and a glow around us.

We will truly learn the harvest is great and be filled with an abundance of gratitude-
Our lives wrapped in loving friends and family-
these are the TREASURES that are greater than rubies or gold.

Even those who were only there briefly in our lives might always remember our taking the time to truly see them and share our smile or gentle word
As we also remember those who took the time to reach out to us-
The many loving words given to us are treasures we hold so very dear

Sharing our love in small ways adds up to mountains of gleaming gems of beauty,
Waves of pure, shining truth and love
Vibrations of harmony, peace and unity spreading throughout the earth
These treasures are there for those who seek them and desire them

Sow the seeds of your love
The harvest is great, it is true
It is golden and bright as the sun
Beckoning to all who desire to share
